no prob.
nardil is the social phobia MAOI, due to it's unique GABA effects. it can slow down the thought of SOME people reportedly, though i am doubtful that this involves a majority of people on the drug. many people even find it stimulating, and i believe some few people have even gone off of it due to stimulating effects. it is a very effective antidepressant when it works, much like parnate in this regard.
obviously, it is a LOT like parnate pharmacologically, despite the fact that a lot of people have a clear preference for one over the other. some people even respond to one not the other. the main obvious distinguising factor in the phramacology technically is the GABA effects and PERHAPS the balance of it's type of MAOI inhibition, but this is hard to find genuine confirmation of.
i would say that switching to nardil is likely worth a shot. if you do, make sure you get up to at least 45-60mg before you make any judgments of it (unless 30mg turns out to be enough.) what dosage of parnate are you on, and how has that worked for you? i heard brief mention a long time ago of people adding Neurontin to Parnate to make it "Nardil-like" due to neurontin's GABA effects, but i am skeptical of it actually doing anything. i am sort of skeptical of neurontin in general. seems to have helped some fibro and even CFS patients though. strange drug.
there is a page that may be helpful to you. i will find it.
