Good question; it was first manufactured
as an anti-convulsant, but all benzos are
anti-convulsants. It is not a fast anxiolytic
but insofar as anxiety is a gabba-thing, i guess
it is an anxiolytic. Alcohol is an anxiolytic
for that matter.
