how to find when a drug is generic-ready legally?

Posted by iforgotmypassword on September 25, 2006, at 14:10:48

aricept (donepezil), specifically. and wondering how/if things are different in canada?

is there a registry that gives dates relevant to this? and details on laws on how long a patent lasts relative to whichever date determines when the patent starts? (fda clearance?)

thanx.
