sometimes antipsychotics make things worse...a lot worse. If you ramp up the dosage enough, you can end up inducing/worsening OCD and worsening/causing pretty bad social withdrawal...its like that study where they found higher-end Haldol dosages caused a sort of social phobia, and zyprexa can induce OCD.

Step 1 would be to lower the neuroleptic and do something about the akathisia--dipenhydramine, valium, propranolol, whatever.

Step 2 would be re-assesing your overall situation: do you still need an antipsychotic? if so, would a reduced dosage do the trick?
