I would imagine normal when switching for some. Quite normal with all benzodiazepines anyhow, the tradeoff for anxiety relief is cognition difficulties in varying matters. There are tricks one can learn to increase the mind's ability, a la the "Memory Bible" by Gary Small, MD, and it will gradually recede to some degree, but there is always residual short term memory loss and reaction time one must trade off.
