Perhaps mild sedation, but certainly not clearly; does improve anhedonia at doses of 1.5 mg daily up to 3.0 mg daily in two studies--check Pub Med. Have to increase very slowly though. Mainly has been tested to augment other antidepressants and reduce refractoriness and anhedonia/apathy. Sudden sleep attacks can occur with both Mirapex and Requip, but are rare at lower doses and non-Parkinsonian patients.
