Thanks for your answer
I went to two neurologists and a psychiatrist. They reached the same diagnosis. I had a history of panick attacks in my childhood, followed by SP years later. The SP seems to have gone away, and the Dysthymia is in place.
The doctors seem not to recognize this kind of response to medication, and that makes lose the confidence i'll improve. It's very difficult to stand on medication, cuz i usually feel worse on them.
I would like to know if anybody had similar experiences and how could he/she get over it.
Brief medication history:
- 4 months on Lexapro: got very apathetic and emotionless, didn't care to anything, couldn't think deeply
- 3 weeks on Fluoxetine: same reactions as with Lexapro, plus couldn't sleep
- 2 weeks on Bupropion: panick attacks, and worsened anxiety and depression
- 2 months on Selegiline: as described in my post, with increased anxiety and obsession
- Several others: usually worsened depression, or apathyBest wishes,
Ralph
