Okay, it appears that there are no other long-acting beta blockers to be found on the face of the earth (or I'm just freaking and reading over all the information in too rapid a fashion! Lol).
Propranolol passes over the blood/brain barrier, so I'm thinking of staying with this med since it was a good med for me in the LA version. It's just so frustrating that I have a cocktail that works fairly well for me, and now I have to go back to playing around with my meds again!! Ugh!
I would love to hear people's experiences on beta blockers in regards to how it helped you keep your blood pressure and heart rate at a steady level due to anxiety. I've been taking 80mg of Inderal LA twice per day for at least 2 years , and actually was thinking of increasing the dose because I've been having issues recently with feeling my heart beating too much. This is NOT the time to start a whole new med. Ugh.
So.....what have others been using with success? I'm sure lymom3 and myself are anxious to get as much feedback as possible.
Thanks so much!
God bless,
Sandy
