The ICD code is used as far as I know in hospitals and medical settings around the world. 298.9 is the ICD for Psychosis NOS, which is a DSM-IV diagnosis. Currently the WHO and countries use ICD-10 with some use of ICD-9."The International Classification of Diseases"
