When they're used for genuine attention problems, there is a case put forward that you don't see as much poop out.I don't know- I was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, it seemed to fit, ritalin helped tons--then it konked out after about 2 years. It devolved into inducing a state of passive fixation only.
