Emsam

Greetings

I have been taking effexor (300mg) plus klonopin for 9 years. Initial effects were good. For the past year or so, It has been losing some of it's effectiveness. My Pdoc suggested Emsam. plus klonopin. I would like to give it a try, but giving up the effexor is difficult. I have cut back to 200mg, and am already feeling the effects.
I am easily hurt and feel depressed often. I am afraid to imagine how I would be if I was off effexor completely. On top of that, I am afraid that I will suffer through this withdrawal just to find out that I feel no better on emsam then effexor.

Any advice, thoughts oppinions would be appreciated.
