I know someone who is taking 800mg of Seroquel who does not experience sedation. I tried it once at dosages above 100mg, and likewise, did not experience sedation. I might be wrong, but I get the impression that this drug might be less sedating at higher dosages. Of course, you will probably experience sedation in the beginning.

The akathisia-like side effects produced by Abilify most often disappear after two weeks. Of course, with your history, this might not be the case, but you won't know unless you try. I don't know if what Abilify produces is true akathisia, though.

Why are you not considering Zyprexa?
