It might be best to do a cross taper. For example, lower the celexa to 20mg, add in 300mg st johns wort for a few days, then up it to 600mg for a few days, and feel it out from there. Then drop the celexa down to 10mg. Feel it out. St johns wort may begin working within 2 weeks, but often people don't feel real benefits from it for a full 8 weeks to 12 weeks, so it would be important to keep some celexa in the mix until you have a good feel for it.

St Johns wort activates the liver enzymes which that metabolize celexa. SJW will actually speed up the removal of celexa from your system.
