You can either take more of it upon awakening or combine it with temazepam. I did not like the way chloral hydrate affected me. It burned my stomach and was no match for Nardil. If trazodone, ramelteon, temazepam, or eszopiclone are of no use, then I guess you are looking at Seroquel. Personally, I have no problem with Seroquel at 25-50mg.

They are from two completely different classes of drugs, although they are sometimes used for similar purposes. Seroquel (quetiapine) is a neuroleptic antipsychotic developed primarily as an antipsychotic to treat schizophrenia. It is used sometimes to treat depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Klonopin (clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine that is used as both an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) and anticonvulsant (anti-epileptic). It has been found to also be helpful for social phobia, panic disorder, and insomnia.
Seroquel and drugs in its class are known to have side effects that include involuntary muscle movements that are sometimes irreversible, although this is rare with Seroquel. Klonopin and drugs in its class are known to produce dependence and are difficult to discontinue.
