where to go from here

Posted by saturn on July 11, 2006, at 17:42:12

i generally don't tolerate stimulants. my doc put me on concerta and atenolol. my bp increased some i believe due to unopposed beta blockade. i'm quite healthy but am also unusually sensitive to stimulants from a cardiovascular standpoint. they work wonders for my adhd, though.

my doc really though concerta and atenolol would be tolerable and effective for me. it wasn't.

i'm afraid i'm running out of options. i think perhaps suggesting a combination of 1. an alpha blocker 2. atenolol 3. dexedrine might do well.

i would appreciate any feedback on this. suggestions on how to communicate this to my doc would be an added plus. thx...peace...saturn
