lamictal activates the orbitofrontal cortex- that circuit with the basal ganglia is, I believe, thought to be the problem in many ocd cases. Give it a shot. I believe it also does something to serotonin.


> my dr. prescribed me lamictal for o.c.d., i have not seen anyone mention they were on it for that. i am also on lexapro & zanax (when needed). i have had a problem with ocd since i was a young girl & told my dr. i didn't think meds would work, i obsess on so many things, have certain rituals with counting & stuff. i guess i will try it though.
