Sorry about your reaction to Mirapex. I am taking Requip (ropinirole), the other dopamine agonist. Only side effect was some palpitations at doses above 1.5 mg a day and some initial nausea. There are a couple of studies on it, and 1.5 mg may be enough. Gave me more focused energy to concentrate, increased interest in most things, even mundane ones like bill paying, less anhedonic. Also on Cymbalta and Lamictal for refractory depression.
