Labwork for Anticonvulsants?

Posted by psychosage on June 10, 2006, at 11:10:25

What labwork should you have done for each anticonvulsant?

I know for Trileptal you should check liver and sodium (not too low) and general levels of oxcarbmazepine.

Lamictal doesn't ask for routine blood work, but what should you be aware of?

Depakote ER demands liver testing and blood plasma levels of divalproex.
