> Hey scott,im days away from adding to parnate one of the TCA`S,looks like it would be easier to obtain Nortplyine excuse the spelling over desimprimine.

I discontinued the Parnate so that I could try other things. Just be aware that there is a risk for the development of serotonin syndrome. Nortriptyline is not as selective for norepinephrine as desipramine is. I found no problem with Parnate, but I did experience a mild reaction with Nardil.
I was never a competitive bodybuilder and I never took steroids. In the 1980s, you rarely found a competetor who didn't. It kept me off the streets, though. :-)

I don't have the energy or motivation to go back to the gym. I wish I did. Every time I get close to going, some medication change makes me feel worse. I haven't given up on the idea, though. I know it would be good for me.
You might want to try lithium at low dosages (300-600mg) to augment the Parnate + desipramine combination if you are still unhappy with the degree of improvement you obtain. Some people exhibit a robust response within 3 days. Don't forget about thyroid.
