Yes,
Im sorry im not larry, he's a good guy.
Listen i do know about amphetamine psychosis because i was on amphetamine (dexedrine and adderall) for 10 years. I went through HORRID nights of going crazy because i could not go to sleep and i had work and school, the next day reality was completely warped, i took 60mg of adderall some nights and i could not go to sleep.
One VERY good benzodiazpine is Clonazepam at 3-5mg because it suppresses electrical activity caused by amphetamine. I slept ok.
I no longer take Dexedrine, stopped it. I just stopped it. But it does, yes have some benefical effects including Social Skills, orginization, motivation. Because the release of dopamine in the nerve synapse, too much dopamine can cause psychosis. I never experineced real psychosis but i came to a point where i really thought i was going crazy.
I am glad you asked this question because i rerember posting about this a long time ago.
Zyprexa and Respirdal are also helpful, ask your doctor about these.
Fish Oil (Omega 3) is also helpful in restoring mental function. Amphetmaine can wear it out.
Sorry for babbling on. Just wanted to give some help that i used need advice for myself for.
Take care
Matt
