Hi All
I've been taking cymbalta 60 mg for about 3 weeks now, and I also take seroquel 25-50 mg for insomnia. I dare say that the AD is treating me well. I think I feel pretty darned good. Now... the bad news...I'm sitting at my desk, surveying the landscape, and I realize that I have 3 coffee cups, 4 empty pop bottles, and a couple of tea cups. This is kind of crazy for me. I was drinking 2 cups of green tea a day until I started the seroquel. It made me feel groggy, and so... I started drinking coffee again. I haven't had coffee in 4 months prior to this. not a drop. um. yeah, so now I'm drinking coffee and tea in the morning, cola at lunch, another coffee in the afternoon, and maybe another cola or 3 at dinnertime. Insomnia is not a problem, because the seroquel knocks me out everytime. I'm kinda tapping my foot a lot lately, but I don't feel that panicky jittery that I associate with caffeine overdose.
today's consumption
am
1 glass iced tea (black)
2 shots espressoafternoon
20 oz diet pepsi
2 glasses iced tea (black)The Night is STILL young!!! cr*ppers, I think I'm caffeine intoxicated. Is such a thing possible?
Any hoo....
My questions: is the AD effect due to coffee? or cymbalta? Will my world spiral out of control if the 300-400 mg I'm currently consuming should decrease by 90%. Is there any risk to drinking so much coffee & cola when I'm taking these drugs?I thank you, and so does my norepinephrine (her name is Neffy) in advance for your kind responses. I know it's a dumb question, but I'm kinda worried I might be tinkering a little too much with my delicate brainses.
