I find that so ignorant. Reading this board, you find that people are constantly anguishing about whether they should take a med(s)-not exchanging info on how incredibly happy they are on their meds. People have to be dragged, kicking and screaming, to take sufficient meds just to be reasonably functional and not to be in constant emotional pain.
Sure, we all know there is a lot of situational suffering in life and no one's trying to avoid that with meds. I hope the writer doesn't think of that as one of his life's Insightful Revelations.
I again suggest my Path to Emotional Enlightenment to these folks: 1 or 2 months of severe depression and anxiety and the promise that it would happen again in the future. They'd be embarrassed at the words they'd written.
