In reply to Tonalin-Does Anyone Have any Info???, posted by Paul on Long Island on May 7, 2006, at 12:26:56
Paul,
Tonalin is one of these giimicks for losing weight. There's something called the Federal Register for some products sold over the counter. They divide products into 1(safe and effective 2} non effective, but safe 3} non safe and non effective. I'm not sure of it's exact classification as far as safety, but it's non effective.I understand topamax is very hard to tolerate. Loss of cognitive function. Have you at least given it a try? I'm not certain as to whether it interferes with your diagnosis. I don't like asking anyone perosnal information.
> Hi, all. I had previously asked if anyone knew of any way to avoid weight gain while on Prozac, which I'm going back on next week, assuming I survive until then. Phillipa mentioned something called Tonalin, but she said she really didn't know anything about it. Has anyone heard of it? Had any experience with it? Is it a prescription medication or an otc supplement type of thing? Also, are there any side effects? Thanks...Paul
