Hi Tepi,
I'm a long term user of clonazepam. I currently take 1mg daily to control general and social anxiety. I have been taking this dosage for several years and it seems to really help my anxiety. I developed tolerance to the somnolence side effect of the drug long ago but tolerance to the anxiety benefit has not developed. Every person is of course different but the 1mg helps me long term without tolerance developing to the antianxiety effect. I no longer feel the "sigh" of relief from taking a benzo occasionally, but it still works on my anxiety. Also, clonazepam has never been a depressive med for me; though many people claim this side effect.
Best of Luck,
Jedi...
