I found that I can't take ortho tri cyclen or seasonale, real bad depression and crying especially on ortho tri cyclen. I do ok though on ortho cyclen. I have read that if you get depression, it's best to take the ones that are the same pill every day, not the ones that have different hormone amounts (and different color) for each week.

> I've been on the pill for almost 10 years now, and recently, my doctor told me that it's very likely that this could be affecting me emotionally. Apparently, oral contraceptives are notorious for exacerbating depression and anxiety. And since I've pretty much always taken it (with no breaks), I have no idea whether it's a factor in my problems. So I've decided to go off it for a while and see what happens. Have any of you ladies out there found that taking the pill worsened your depression? Please share your experiences with me! Thanks, Jess :)
