As everyone else is,im very frustrated with the years and years,and money time etc spent on this illness or whatever the public deems it is,i know they change every year right,tom cruise style.
ANYWAY after reading a lot of abstracts from universties that have done testing,they write how tons of abnormalities are found in the brains of depressed/non depressed people.
They found nutrients are all out of whack,amino acid ratios of inhiboatory to excitatory are imbalanced,and they find numerous chemicals the ones we thrive on fixing here every day,dopamine,serotion,noradreanline,gaba etc are also all shown to be imbalanced.
Im wondering the same thing the study suggests,what if instead of being LOW in these chemicals,low findings only indicate END RESULT to whats really going on.
Would this make sense of why we believe a drug "poops out on us" when in reality we are trying to overload are brain with a single chemical or a few when it has enough for the moment,i dont know but this one docter says they believe they have an idea what is causing problems but that it dwells in a part of the brain were unable to study this day and age,and depression brings foruth tons and tons of imbalanes and like a car leaking a slow oil leak,yeah when u over fill it u feel ur fine,but it will only dwindle again since the real problem is not being adrressed.I have some of these articles if there is enough interest ill upload them and link them so people can read them.
IM just more and more every day believing that these drugs are simply not treating a depressive illness,instead they are truly masking them,and masking them poorly it seems.
