agree for the most part about docs not being impressed with the patients knowledge of medicines but I did find one that was & he is my doc now. he even said that I knew the drug better that the company rep that tried to give him samples which he promply turned away due to outright misinformation from the representative about the drug (Emsam).
I came prepared & the doc was actually impressed enough to prescribe selegiline to me as he didn't have any samples of Emsan as he turned the representative away do to the misinformation.The fact is it works for me & at low doses even as I found a way of taking it that give much of the supposed benefits of the patch. the only real difference is the drug is released into the blood very quickly instead of over time. the patch releases it very slowly.
