Yup you've already been in the Archives. Quick to learn. Mepbrobamate at 450mg was great for me in the 70's but added to that was 5mg of valium three times a day. And guess what? No mind dulling cognitive deficits it just slowly took care of my panic attacks. I just stopped it on my own with no adverse reactions stayed on the valium and gradually reduced my doseage of that as well. Only after menopause did my anxiety increase again. For years I was med free then my thyroid went hypo and the anxiety increased back to benzos. Hope this helps Love Phillipa
