Sleeping Problems.

Posted by bprandy on April 20, 2006, at 10:54:48

About six months ago I got real stressed out and my normally difficult sleeping problems became a major problem. I was getting just 2-3 hours a night. Tried Lunesta. That was worthless. Been on Trazadone and that pooped out. Changed from Neurontin to Lamictal.
Over a month now on Ambien cr with 1 mg Klonopin and I could not be more disappointed. A six hour sleep is unheard of. I am still getting about 3-4 and in the last week I have been cheating. If i do not fall asleep within an hour or so I sneak a 1/2 mg of klonopin and a trazadone. Even so I still sleep poorly and not long enough.
Tonight I am going to take a Doxepin in spite of my shrinks orders not to. At least I will get one good nights sleep. I batch if she had my sleep problems she would gulp a Doxepin in a heartbeat.

I dont get a vacation until August but I am going to go cold turkey and stay up for days until my body remembers how to fall asleep.
