So their not much evidence or logic proposin memantine as a possible agent to stretch to the maximum the initial "euphoria / well being" of MAOIs...

Is there any other agents that could help to / do that ? .. or any kind of strategy ? I can't believe we all everytime has to touch the sky just to fall to a mixed weird level where you are stimulated/tired/sleepy etc.. Their should be a was to leverate the effect a bit more than that !?

If it does that.. if it does the same thing as Nardil I'm back to point 0. And then there is not much left to try... that's sad

In Germany, where memantine has been available for over 10 years, some doctors do use it to treat depression. However, it is probably of limited value because it is used so little. Unfortunately, there are not many investigations in American medical literature to evaluatate its efficacy in the treatment of depression. The one study performed by the NIH failed to demonstrate efficacy.
