I agree with Chairman_MAO. Sometimes, the initial response to Nardil is that of euphoria. This is particularly true if someone has been chronically depressed for years. I guess it is a sort of overshoot. In any event, it is not necessarily a bad sign that you have settled down a little bit. You might now be exactly where you should be. Give things some time. Your system has yet to find its own level of homeostasis.
If you feel that you still fall short, I think adding amphetamine is worth looking at. I wish I had thought of it 20 years ago when I was still partially responsive to Nardil. I once added amphetamine to a combination of Parnate + desipramine, but it helped for only three days. I was less responsive to medication at that time.
Don't be afraid of going up to 90mg if necessary. Some people have been as high as 120mg. Still, I think you may need to be patient and see where your current treatment regime leads you.
