I started out at 10mg twice a day for four days and I am now on my second day of 15 mg twice a day. I have become more engaged with people and my surroundings and I feel a sense of joy at times. But my concentration and focus and is not up that much and I am still unable to work efficiently. Any comments or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi I have add innattentive too, and was started on 20mg Dex. spanules.. Initially, it worked incredibly, but it seemed to stop working a couple days later.. but I've read from a couple different sources that it's not uncommon to have a sense that dex. has stopped working when the "false sense of well being" it can create, wears off. I've read, that although, you may have some rebound depression, or just feeling that the drug has stopped working, if you psychologically try to push past those thoughts, you may find it's still having some effect. I don't know, some take NMDA antagonists to prevent tolerance,.. but I don't know about the safety. you might want to ask about memantine..
Anyway, I wrote a specialist in ADD, inattentive type, she recommended the supplement, "Enada" NADH... you might know, a molecule that is essential in metababolic functioning, and can boost attention, .. this form, Enada, is allegedly the most effective and natural form of this supplement.. It helped restore focus and gave me energy, for a little while:.. Although my sample is past expiry date.. so I may not be getting the full effect. Anyway hope you find something..
