Hi Crabwalk --I'm sorry to hear that you are one of those with 'permanent' sexual side effect from SSRI. I had myself difficulties for more than a year after having take paxil for 4 years. It seems that in my case taking Wellbutrin about 6 months (after 1 years of problems after stoping paxil) help to regain my normality, including getting rid of the genital anesthesia.
Do you take something to help with your problems ?

> Not to scare you, but I had very severe sexual side effects on ssris. I quit them over a year ago, and they have not cleared up one bit, including the anesthesia part. I've even had a small amount of testicular shrinkage. This is happening to more and more people, although it is still rare. If you want to be safe I would consider switching AD's to something without sexual side effects if you can, because as far as is known now it could happen to anybody. Take it from me, ssris have pretty much ruined my life by taking away all sexual feelings and much of the associated emotion. You don't want to go through the devastation I and many are others have suffered and still suffer indefinitely.
