In real life it's mainly prescribed for anxiety, doctors like it precisely because it's long half life makes it very difficult to tell if it's doing anything at all, so there's little chance of abuse. The trouble is, I really DON'T know whether it's doing anything at all. Cecilia
Heh! That's an interesting observation. It's
half-life is 15 hrs., if i remember correctly
so it is not that long; certainly much shorter
than Valium's. I don't think what is unique
about it is its half-life. The drug just doesn't
build tolerance as fast as the other benzos.Your remark about it doing anything at all
is very interesting. Is it possible that after
5-7 yrs. you have withdrawn from the stuff?
But then, that can't be possible because
try to withdraw and you will see that it has
left its indelible mark.I could ask Roche, but I don't expect an
answer based on my past communications with
pharamaceutical companies.Squiggles
