What they will do depends upon how low it is. If it is a dire situation, they do a plasma transfusion. Otherwise, I suppse they monitor you and make medication adjustments.
Any way you slice it, this is not something you want to sweep under the rug. How can you be sure your count is normal without blood work? Even if the black and blue marks heal, the Nardil still could be causing problems. If you have thrombocytopenia there is a risk of death from what would otherwise not even be considered an injury. It is not a good idea to continue taking these drugs if they are causing significant platelet derangement in the long term--whether life threatening or not--either. I am not familiar enough with this to give you further advice. :(
