Hi,
I just picked up a pamphlet about OMACOR from my local CVS. Apparently "OMACOR®(omega-3-acid ethyl esters) is the first and only FDA-approved prescription omega-3 fatty acid product." It is just approved for people with high triglycerides but I wonder if it wouldn't be a great way of getting omega-3 dependably for depression? Currently I take MaxEPA by Now Foods and while it carries both the UPS symbol and has GMP certification you would have to think that something approved by the FDA would be safer and better controlled. Or maybe not ;)
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
Thanks!
Liz
