> I know that all people do not have negative responses to antidepressants of all classes. My neighbors all take them and they work great. Lets hear some poitive feed back about any of them. I know there are a lot of them or the drug companies would fold. Love Phillipa
My positive and over-all experiences with AD's:
Prozac-Good response for about 2 yrs.
Paxil-very good response for 3 yrs.
Luvox-good response approx. 1 yr.
Remeron-Excellent response for about 5 yrs. My Doc combined it w/ Paxil.
Imipramine-good response in early eighties for approx. 3 yrs.
Parnate-super good response ( by far the best for me) in '97 and now.
Zoloft-some help for about a yr.Cymbalta-good response doc combined this w/ Remeron.
Aside from Parnate, Remeron and Paxil worked the best for me... and even better when they were combined. Have you tried either of these Jan? How about any maoi's? Hope you are doing well.
