2 have them equal and 1 has K twice as strong as Zanaax.Xanax has a "kick" as I mentioned earlier that makes it seem stronger than Klonopin. Klonopin is very subtle, especially in non-benzodiazepine naive individuals and has a long half life, as much as 16 hours. Xanax has a very short half life, as little as 4.
i have rotated between the two over the years. From K to Z to thr z seems stronger although I experience withdrawl symptoms every 5 tp 6 hrs
You will experience withdrawal symptoms if you do not maintain Xanax 4 times a day. It is not the best drug for long term use. Thats why the only new benzodiazepine to ever hit the market, Xanax XR theoretically covers 24 hours. It is a bit of a patent extender, but for those used to Xanax, and can afford it, I suppose it is worth the cost rather than taking round the clock Xanax pills.
From z to k I have have less AD effect but no peaks and vallys..On daily maintanace i quess K is a bit stronger (not twice as strong in my body) but the initial effects of Z much stronger. On PDR Z stronger. Better for occasional panic attacks etc.
You're right, Xanax is better for the occasional use. I use it PRN on rotten days, but I take Valium long term as it has a half life exceeding 24 hours.
