I didn't see prozac on that list. It was the only ssri to give me a jump start that lasted quite a while (5 years). Every now and then someone does get sleepy on prozac, but in most cases it has a stimulating nature to it. Of all the ssris, I think prozac would be the least likely to cause sedation. When I first tried it, I got that jump start effect beginning on the second day. I don't take it any more. But, whenever I get in real bad shape, I will mix some in a bottle of water and chug maybe 2.5mg of it and it almost always gives me that jump start in about 6 hours. I keep thinking maybe I should be back on it. Anyway, prozac 10mg for a while, maybe up to 20mg. People tend to get either agitated, apathetic, or sedated at higher doses. The lower doses in my own experiences work better.
I can also get that jump start effect from miniscule amounts of cymbalta (like a mere 1mg), but the effects fade in about 3 days and then dose increases do not bring back the good effect.
So if you want to stay in the ssri/snri class, you only have paxil, luvox, and prozac to choose from. Paxil and luvox would likely be sedating. Prozac not likely.
