Abilify was discovered by Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, Tokyo, Japan. The molecule was marketed by Bristol-Meyers Squibb, the final owner of the patent. So the 2mg may be produced in Tokyo instead of here, or may be produced by the US arm of the company. At any rate, it is a patented drug, produced solely by BMS. The packaging was just anal retentive in its origin, since it comes from the same company. Hope that explains things.
