I still use at least 20mg on days that I work, either at my day job or at my wintertime weekend job (ski instructor).

I've added a number of dietary supplements recently in hopes of losing some weight, dropping the BP, and keeping my body functioning properly for the long tough running sessions that I do. Some of the supplements that I've been using are designed for endurance athletes and come from a company named Hammer Nutrition. Others are taken from the list of supplements recommended in the Perricone weight loss program, although I'm not using all 12 of the supplements recommended there.
My diet has been more in line with the DASH diet recently (google DASH diet hypertension for more info), and I've been using fish oil, flax seeds, COQ10, plus making sure that I get enough magnesium, calcium and potassium.
I also purchased a BP monitor for home use, and I need to let my doc know if I get above a certain number (on average) over any 2-3 week period.
I've done OK so far in that regard.
