Hey, trazodone (desyrel) is an old antidepressant that is primarily used now for its sedative properties. Dosage for sleep is typically 50 to 150mg but some people take alot more. Its not an over the counter med so you would need to see a dr first.
> I've read in a few posts this can help you sleep. i don't know much about meds perscription or not. what form does it come in, can you get it over the counter at the drugstore? what is in it that helps you sleep? is it just an ingredient in something (like cold medicine or over the counter sleeping pills), or do you just ask for trazadone?
