I'm sorry to hear that much weight gain. It does mess with the lipids in your system and can raise cholesterol and one has to watch what one eats, but that's an enormous amount of weight gain, far exceeding what I had on Remeron. Sleep contributes because you don't burn much calories while asleep. Zyprexa is usually much more of a contributor than Seroquel, but as your experience shows, it differs for some, sometimes those who started underweight to begin with.
I've found the best thing with Seroquel is to take it at night, consistently, several hours before you actually are asleep, and then its easier (not the easiest) to stay awake in the morning, even after 900mgs. Of course I don't always adhere to that schedule and when I don't, I can sleep into the afternoon, which isn't particularly good for me.
