I normally take 30 mg of generic Adderall 3 times a day, but I think since I get the generic version, the drugs are just not as reliably effective as the "real thing" sometimes. Or maybe I hit my tolerance level, but two weeks ago with my previous prescription of generic Adderall, it seemd to work a lot better than this time around. And the time before last time, it was not as effective, either. I find that if I use one nation wide pharmacy, the generics just seem to be better than at another locally-owned compounding pharmacy. I wonder if there really is a difference in dose strenghs when both are supposed to be 30 mg, OR is anybody taking more than 30 mg 3 x a day? Have I hit my tolerance limit? I do try to take weekends off to forestall the tolerence level setting in, then some weeks when I go back on the Adderall, it works better with a lower dose at times, but not all times, so I don't know if tolerance levels are truly involved or not. Anybody have similar experiences? The lack of effectivity with the generics is frustrating enough to send me to paying premium rates for the Adderall brand name, if I have to. But I'm already spending $245 a month in maintenance drug co-pays (I take a minimum of 10 maintenance drugs each day), so any more money than that would be a real hardship for me. Any ideas?
