Deep Brain Stimulation - Any News?

Hi - Was just wondering if there had been any developments for anyone that was going for consultations etc re DBS.
There seemed to be a few people actively looking into this around July 2005 time, but I've not been able to find any postings as to how they got on.
Hope everyone has a better 2006 than 2005!!
