Starting Abilify at 10mg !! ....why 10??

I saw my Pdoc Yesterday , he agreed with me
about taking abilify. I saw the prescription
and it says 10mg per day in the mornings.
Don´t you think this is a very high dose to
start it ??
I split one pill and took only 5mg. I still think
5mg is a lot rigth ? Do you believe I should
lower the dose to 2.5mg.??
I feel very tired yesterday in my first dose.
I thought about taking abilify at nigths but
I have just read that it can cause insomnia so I
better gonna take it in the mornings
