Wellbutrin was without a doubt the best Antidepressant I ever took (most effective, fewest side effects) HOWEVER -- the first time it was tried on me I too wound up in the "rubber room" 1) The dose was begun too high (300mgm)
AND 2)I am one of a cadre of folks who cannot metabolize Wellbutrin and SSRI's properly together. ( I was on Prozac at the time)
My experience the second time around was with a VERY SLOW build up and no SSRI's and, while it took awhile to get to, I did very well on 200mgm SR taken at 8am and 4pm......--------------------------------------
> Yep, it can. Try reducing your dose back to 150, and see if that helps. If it does, stay there unless you need to go back up, but stay there until your body adjusts. 300 might be too high, or you might have gone there too quickly. Then again, Wellb. might not be the thing for you.
