Trish:
Here's my 2 cents worth. I have seen and heard from many that take klonopin without sucess at low doses like you're taking. It didn't work for me until I got over 1mg.
I'm currently taking 2mgs at night. Because it has a long half life you don't need to take it twice a day or in the morning like shorter acting meds.
By taking it at night it will probably help with sleep and reduce daytime drowsyness (which goes away in time, but the anti anxiety benefits seem to remain). A higher dose may give you additional anxiety benefits that your missing.
I would consider going up to higher doses taken at night and you might find the answer.
Just keep in mind that all drugs work differently for everyone. I just read your post and have seen so many that may be taking a great drug for their problem, just not an affective dose.
The same thing happened with my Mom (this anxiety stuff seems to run in families). After klonopin worked for me, her doc gave it to her. She was taking .5mgs and it wasn't helping. Once she got to 1.5mgs her life changed, the anxiety manageable. Like me, once a day at night.
I'm obviously pitching because it's the best thing I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. Hope this is of some help. Good luck!
