Diferrence between Paxil and Paxil CR

I have just bougth Paxil CR . Do you believe
that this extended release version is better
than the old one?.

Another question, am I wrong or Paxil is the
only SSRIS oficialy accepted to treat
Social anxiety disoder.
Why?
