Propranolol and PTSD

I've just read an article in New Scientist which describes how a beta-blocker such as Propranolol might weaken the laying down of stressful memories. It might even be useful in weakening the memory's circuit on deliberate recall. I have anxiety disorder and have always regarded it as re-living of the terror of a childhood experience without remembering it. Emotional memory rather than visual etc
